About
Shady coffee estates under tall silver oaks on the Araku road, with tribal-grown coffee for sale.
The Ananthagiri hills on the road to Araku are covered with coffee plantations grown under tall silver oak trees wrapped in pepper vines. Much of the coffee is grown by tribal farmers and sold under the Araku name.
The road winds through cool, shaded estates, and roadside stalls sell fresh coffee, pepper and honey. Viewpoints open onto the valleys of the Eastern Ghats.
Not to be confused with the Ananthagiri Hills near Vikarabad in Telangana.
