About
Seafront temple to Goddess Kali at the southern end of RK Beach, a landmark of the promenade.
The Kali Temple stands at the southern end of RK Beach, facing the sea. Dedicated to Goddess Kali, it is a well-known landmark — many people simply say “Kali Temple” when giving directions to the beach.
The temple sees steady crowds in the mornings and evenings and especially during Navaratri. The beach in front of it is one of the best places in the city to watch the sunrise.
Dress modestly and remove footwear before entering.
