About
A quiet reservoir framed by the Eastern Ghats, with a lakeside park.
Mudasarlova is one of the oldest drinking-water reservoirs of Visakhapatnam, set in a bowl of hills at the foot of the Kambalakonda and Simhachalam ranges.
A small park on the bank is popular with families and walkers, and the views of the still water with the hills behind are lovely at sunset. A decorated pump house stands in the water near the bund.
The area is quieter than the beachfront parks and makes a pleasant break on the way to Simhachalam.
