About

A Sea Harrier jump-jet, its Pegasus engines and a flight simulator in a modern beachfront building.

The Sea Harrier Museum opened on Beach Road in May 2023, next to the TU-142 museum, as part of VMRDA’s beachfront museum complex. It centres on a Sea Harrier, the vertical take-off fighter that flew from Indian aircraft carriers for three decades.

Alongside the aircraft are two Pegasus jet engines, cockpit equipment, models and a flight simulator that lets visitors try a carrier landing.

It is a short visit and easy to combine with the TU-142 and the Kursura submarine across the road.
