About
Large seafront park on Beach Road with lawns, a lake, flower shows and play areas.
VMRDA Park, still widely known by its old name VUDA Park, is one of the largest parks on Beach Road, opposite the sea near MVP Colony. Families come here for evening walks among lawns, palm-lined ponds and flowering trees.
The park has a Buddha statue garden, an amphitheatre, play areas for children and a bamboo-shaded walkway. It hosts the city’s annual flower show.
